Fitness Treatment Programmes and Learn to Swim

Healthy dogs can have individual swim sessions to either improve their fitness; develop confidence and the ability to swim well or for fun. It is a great form of exercise good for muscles and cardio-vascular fitness. Breeds which are prone to suffer from arthritis or joint issues benefit hugely from swimming as puppies whilst their bones are growing.

Working and showing or sports dogs can have a full fitness training programme leading up to events or to help them recover from injury or to maintain full fitness. This can be intensive work on the treadmill where they can walk or trot on an inclined treadmill or and swimming against the jets in the pool.

Your dog will still need a vet referral you can ask your vet to sign the form or we can organise this for you.
